Dhupguri elevated to subdivision, Trinamool honors Pledge - Abhishek Banerjee

Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee extends congratulations to the Dhupguri area of North Bengal for being declared a subdivision, emphasizing that Trinamool is synonymous with keeping promises.

Following Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's announcement on social media, Abhishek Banerjee asserts that the government of Maa-Mati-Manush has successfully fulfilled this commitment. Notably, Trinamool's commitment to granting subdivision status played a pivotal role in the by-election held last September when the party secured the Dhupguri assembly seat from the BJP.

During the 2021 assembly election campaign, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had pledged to establish Dhupguri as a separate subdivision. This promise has now materialized just ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aligning with the party's commitment to regional development and fulfilling electoral assurances.
